SOME MUSLIMS TRADITIONS

Reading the Qur'an ( accompanied by a translation if necessary) and meditation of the things that are contained in it , which should take place in everyday life. That most fruitful thing divine blessings is this invocation of the word of the Lord . What to say - When you start something, Bismi - l Allaah says ( "in the name of God" ) and, once finished : al- hamdu li -l- Allah ( " praise to God " ) . When deciding to do one thing or the promise of it someone is done, it must be added immediately : Inshallah ( " God willing " ) .

 

When are Muslims greet saying salam alaik (or : as- salam alaik ) are also answered , or says . Alaik wa as- salam ( all these formulas mean : peace be upon you) - You must take the habit of glorifying God , when one goes to bed and when you get up ( Subhana Allah , " purity God " is the simplest formula ) . - It is also often invoked God's blessing upon the Prophet, for example, by the following formula : " Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa wa salim Bariq " ( "Oh God , have mercy on Muhammad , bless him and give it to Your safeguard ! " .) - If you sneeze, to " Alhamdulillah " ( All praise and thanks to Allah) said . If you hear someone sneeze , "Ya Allah Harmuk " is said ( may Allah be merciful to you ) .
