PRAYER

Prayer involves the recitation of certain formulas and verses from the Koran , accompanied by a series of inclinations.

 

The following describes the daily prayers , the traditional indication as to when they should be done. Most Muslims, however , are guided by the call to prayer from the mosques are . They also tend to edit calendars that indicate hours favorable to perform the prayers every day of the year depending on where you are Muslim .

 

Dawn prayer ( Fajr فجر or صبح ' or subh ) is made at the time of transition between night and day.

Midday Prayer ( ظهر zuhr ) is made before the sun has traveled halfway separating the zenith of the setting .

Evening Prayer ( عصر ' asr ) in the second half of the afternoon. It draws on the color of the sun : it must be done before the star turn orange tone.

Prayer sunset ( maghrib مغرب ) shortly after sunset .

Night prayer ( isha عشاء ) during closed hours, at least half an hour after sunset
