The arrival of the month of Ramadan brings an important and special, both real and symbolic, for a Muslim acontecimientosmás: Lailat-ul Qardr the night of decree. This night in which the Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation of the Holy Quran and began his mission as a prophet and messenger of Allah.

Upon completion of Ramadan, a time of great importance, spirituality and symbolism for Muslims and produce. On the first day of the following month (Shawwal) celebrated Eid al-Fitr. On this day, prayers are held in the morning and then in the afternoon, start meetings and family visits. Furthermore, emphasis is given to charity to the poor. FASTING

Fasting has seven conditions:

Be attentive at the beginning of the month following the phases of the moon. Ramadan begins with the ninth crescent ( Hilal هلال ) of the year, and they should see him on his first night . The month preceding Ramadan is Shaaban . If the night of 29th Shaaban is cloudy and you can not tell if it has not appeared or the moon of Ramadan (and it is relevant ) considered that Shaaban celebrates its thirtieth day and not start to fast overnight , who must be first of Ramadan because no lunar month may have more than thirty days. Those who have not personally seen the moon, but its output confirms someone trustworthy ( عدل ' adl ) who has witnessed the appearance of the crescent, is obliged to fast the next day. If the moon is in one region and not another that is adjacent and close enough to be aware of the fact, fasting is obligatory on both . If the other region is far , each country has its own moon .

The intention ( niya نية ) . The Muslim should make an act of intent the first night preceding the fasting ( every night in the opinion of the most demanding ) valid for fasting. The intention is clearly to make the decision to fast the next day (or the rest of the month according to those who do not require a daily intention) to comply with the obligation to keep Ramadan. The intention must be concrete : not enough to decide fast, but strictly comply with the ritual fasting of Ramadan.

Refrain ( إمساك emsāk ) of getting something on purpose to stomach knowing that you are fasting . Eating something solid or liquid , invalidates the fast . As ' drink ' and ' smoking ' is like saying in Arabic, means that abstention includes snuff . If not done on purpose or if it is done out of forgetfulness and not annul the validity of the fast . You should be aware of the exact moment when the fast begins each day not to take anything in the wall that separates the time to eat and time to fast and end with sunset not break the fast before exact time , as this nullifies its validity.

Abstain from sex (جماع Yima ') during fasting. The Yima 'refers to penetration, although there is no sexual pleasure or ejaculation. If sexual intercourse takes place during the night and before dawn without doing ghusl, Yanaba status (which derives from having sex) does not nullify the validity of the fast.

Refrain from masturbation (إستمناء istimnā). Cause ejaculation during the day will invalidate the fast.

Refrain induce vomiting (إستقاء istiqā). Vomiting unpremeditated not break the fast, but must procure eject well, avoiding swallowing again. Swallowing mucus generated in the lungs or throat does not nullify the fast, because it is virtually inevitable.

No both verbally and physically assaulting neighbor.

* Are exempt from fasting sick, travelers, pregnant women with the period.
